Chris Yonge

Chris Yonge's background is in product design, furniture design/making, and animation. He is principal of StudioCruz, a 3D design and communication group based in Santa Cruz and serving the central California region. In 2010 he co-founded MakersFactory, the Santa Cruz 3D printing facility.

 

Teaching Interests: 

Chris teaches CMPS25 (3D Computer Modeling) twice a year using the open source animation program Blender, and CMPS26 (Digital Animation) one quarter per year as part of the Baskin School of Engineering. Chris is also a faculty member of UCSC's Digital Arts and New Media department, specializing in the creative use of digital modeling, animation, and 3D printing.
