The Digital Arts and New Media MFA Program at UC Santa Cruz announced the winners of two awards during the May 7 reception for its 2010 MFA Exhibition "Things That Are Possible."
"Sounds Interesting..." by Lyès Belhocine received the Juror's Award, and the collaborative exhibit comprised of "building" by Nick Lally and "bicilogues" by Kyle McKinley received the Alumni Award.
The show was juried by Josette Melchor, director of GAFFTA in San Francisco, and Daniel Massey, DANM class of 2006 and recent recipient of a Distinction Award at Transmediale in Berlin.
