DANM TUESDAYS :: peer gynt

Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 12:00am to 2:00am

DANM TUESDAYS 4-6 allow us to come together each week to listen, learn and share our work and play. This time is reserved for workshops, visiting speakers, student and faculty presentations, and community development.

Come find out about the collaborative work that is The Gynt Project.

http://thegyntproject.com/about/
This winter we're staging Ibsen's epic masterpiece in a multi-space performance on the UC Santa Cruz campus, with Theater Arts graduate and undergraduates, Digital Arts and New Media MFA students, and an international cast of professional actors, designers, and dramaturgs.

Our collaborative production of Peer Gynt combines traditional theater with new media arts to bring 21st-century audiences this timeless play that questions, from a dizzying array of angles, the nature of the self.

Building a collaborative community from theater, digital media, music, and visual artists, we're creating an interactive performance event for the community.  Find out how you can be involved.
