The Project

The Social Cost Tracker was developed in collaboration with graduate students and faculty at UC Santa Cruz.

The project consists of a Website and Mobile phone application that will allow consumers to access multimedia information concerning their products of choice, while being able to upload and integrate their own relevant media to the database.

The phrase “social cost” refers to both the human capital exploited and the natural resources expended in the production and disposal of consumer goods.

Right now we are in the early stages of development and conceptualization and are looking for organizations and companies interested in collaboration.
