While I enjoyed my somewhat chaotic process that resulted in the projection on the cherry blossoms for Batteries Not Included, I am anxious to get back to work on my thesis preparation.

I propose to use this course to prepare my MFA thesis project work. I am currently developing the curriculum for several digital media arts workshops for youth in Brazil. Due to the fact that my thesis research will take place in Brazil this coming July and August, I need to complete several preliminary steps as soon as possible. My project will require funding for technology and travel. I would like to receive critical feedback on my grant proposals prior to the deadlines and have group input on the curriculum I am developing. I intend to create sample work based on the curriculum to prototype the workshop methods. I also intend to collaborate with Lyès Belhocine to construct a low cost beat box prototype that may be used to instruct youth how to make electronic beats and rhythms.
