1.) What are the specific EEG methods that you will be using? Can frontal lobe activity be recorded with sensors that only contact a limited portion of the participant’s head?
The EEG can be a very non-intrusive cap that the participant would put on after laying down in the dome.*
2.) Will visual morphing facial features in itself be sufficient to generate empathy, or will it only generate surprise or amusement like a circus distortion mirror?
The visual morphing is not enough to stimulate empathy. Empathy will be stimulated through the dialogue between the avatar and the participant. The avatar will relate some story in which they had to act in morally vague manner. Then, the participant will be forced to have to choose the same action.*
3.) Are there other experiences you could provide for your viewers before they enter your morphing environment that could set them up for their experience?
I will have portals, cut-outs, into the dome by which people will be able to look in and see the participant as well as the avatar.*
4.) How will you verify the biometric responses are actually measuring the empathy response? Q also relevant to Gordon
The EEG cap has huge potential and any other biometric recording devises chosen to be used in this installation will have a significant testing procedure prior to use.

5.)How are you going to construct the "other" ethnicity?
Computer Graphics. If I am unable to partner with some computer scientists, my plan is to film interview with as many people as possible that have diverse physical facial attributes and histories. The editing can be as simple as cross-fading.*
