Technical Help /Orientation

The DANM Technical Orientation is a yearly two week orientation to the DANM program for incoming students. It is organized by the DANM Technical Coordinator.

Objectives

• Accomplish Administrative Housekeeping (getting your: accounts, ID cards, lockers, tables)
• Build Community - socially and knowledge of each other's work = open micro studios help with this

• Gain Awareness of the Available Technologies

  • Overview of Technology relevant to the field of Digital Arts and New Media
  • Introductions to Specific Technologies

• Introduce Tools and Resources available to you at DANM

  • Facilities Use
  • Equipment Use
  • Safety Training
