Technical Help /Orientation 2008
To get you comfortable with what DANM has at your disposal and to jump-start your understanding of some technical details of this field of study, we are running a two-week technical orientation starting September 8th 2008 at 10am at Porter College Room 245.
The workshop will run from 10am until 3:30pm every day with an understanding that you will continue to work on things in the afternoon as fits with your schedule. You may use this afternoon time to work more with recording equipment, flesh out your web presence, finish editing that video, or getting some one-on-one time with someone. Though I will be there the whole time I am trying to include many others in the schedule. I am also keeping a lot of space available in the second week to allow you to help shape what we will cover; ideas are welcome.
