Hey, if you create a new page put a link at the top or bottom to get back to the this one, something like [Main Discussion | http://danm.ucsc.edu/web/Trial Discussion ] or whatever sub page you'ld like. I figure the most useful organization of discussion would be broken into two sections:

Discussion on Particular Readings

• Walter Benjamin, The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction last edited by nici
• Article to be discussed digital art, the book that no one has last edited by nici
• Article to be discussed internet art last edited by nici
• Light and Dark Visions last edited by nici
• War in the Age of Inteligent Machines last edited by nici
• The Work of Culture in the Ager of Cybernetic Systems last edited by nici
• Technologies Of The Gendered Body last edited by nici

Discussion on Particular Artists

• Bill Viola last edited by nici
• Orlan last edited by chris

Discussion of common themes or common issues

• One theme
• Two theme
• Red theme
• Blue theme

Hopefully this way we can hash out particular readings and then look at the big picture without too much confusion. The other important issue is to have a notification system to see what new has been posted. I'm sure Aphid will come up with a more elegant solution to this but for now I think the best way would be when you edit this page to reflect that the most recent poster was you, that way no one has to search through the RSS feed. This does require an extra step which may be erased through programing... we'll see.
