User Name Change

If you want to change your DANM account name you will first need to change your UCSC user name.

1. Go ahead and check if the new UCSC account name is available.
2. Fill out the Account Modification Form. You will need a signature from the DANM Program Manager.
3. Fax, mail, campus mailstop or hand deliver the form to the IT Support Center. The information is on the form. It costs $10. The Center accepts either check or money order that must be mailed or hand delivered to Kerr Hall room 54.
4. If all goes well, IT will automatically update the UC Santa Cruz Faculty/Staff Directory Listing. This process can take up to five business days. IT will send an email confirmation.
5. When you receive email confirming your new account name, come talk to me. It will be some work for me to create the new account and move your content over. And we may need to do it together.
