18 Cadence is an interactive story-space in which players are first invited to explore the house and its occupants throughout its century-long history and subsequently create their own narrative dependent on choices they make. This project differs from the narrative book story in that it is not a set (either this path or this one) system; an infinite number of outcomes is possible because all the material is exposed and the user takes what she/he wishes. The player will have complete control over the resulting short-story. Even after the story is put together, he/she can make changes to it as desired. In addition to this, prior knowledge of lingo is not necessary as the interaction with the story is entirely gestural, making it accessible to larger audiences.
