PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2004 to Present University of California at Santa Cruz Theater Arts Department • Master Carpenter Under the supervision of Joe Wiess, Coordinate with Designers and Directors; acting Shop Forman, maintain tools and inventory of scene shop; instruct two sections of the class TA-50, teaching safety and construction techniques in wood and metal; Build scenery for the four theaters in the department.

2002-2003 Sacramento Theatre Company, Sacramento CA • Properties Master Coordinated with the Designers and Directors; maintained Props budget ledger; reported to the Production Manager and the Technical Director; created inventory of props and furniture warehouse; provided props and furniture for a seven show season.

2001-2002 Sacramento Theatre Company, Sacramento CA • Master Carpenter Coordinated with the Technical Director; oversaw two other carpenters; read plans; estimated costs; built and installed scenery for a seven show season.

Summer 2001 Sacramento Shakespeare Festival • Technical Director / Scenic Designer As an adjunct faculty member I designed and built two shows: Macbeth and Three Musketeers; Coordinated with Directors and Sacramento City College; budgeted; ordered materials; hired students; oversaw crew of eight for construction, load-in, and weekly change over.

Spring 2001 City Theatre of Sacramento City College • Technical Director / Scenic Designer/ Lighting Designer As an adjunct faculty member I designed and built Importance of Being Ernest. Coordinated with Directors and Sacramento City College; budgeted; ordered materials; hired students; oversaw crew of six for construction, load-in and change over. I was nominated for Elly Awards for both Set and Lighting.

Fall 2000 Sacramento Theatre Company Sacramento CA • Technical Director Built Blues in the Night; Coordinated with Directors and Designer; budgeted; ordered materials; hired; oversaw crew of three carpenters for construction and load-in.
