Antoine Abou Jaoude is an interdisciplinary artist interested in interpolating post colonial theory into new media praxis. He studied liberal arts & Communication Media at the Lebanese American University in Beirut Lebanon and worked in advertising and commercial media later on. He is currently an MFA student in the Digital Arts and New Media program at the University of California Santa Cruz.

Antoine Abou Jaoude instantiates his artwork through the use of the non artistic and the 'milieu'. To illustrate, dressing up as a housewife, as his artsy "id" interacts with the sounds of lemon squeezers, buzzing fridge, guitars and bow. In addition, he perpetually fantasizes in being in being lost in an architectural open space, only to cognitively record the sounds of disembodied coffee machines and clicking high heels on 60’s French like marble.
