The Excitement is Building...
The Digital Arts Research Center will be the new home of the DANM program when it opens its doors in 2009.
UCSC's latest building is under construction and scheduled for completion in fall 2009. The state-of-the-art facility -- with three stories and nearly 25,000 square-feet -- will be shared by the DANM MFA program, the Art and Music departments, as well as Shakespeare Santa Cruz.
The Digital Arts Research Center will provide these units with laboratories, studios and offices:

- green room/staging for media lab
- faculty studios
- conference room
- staff offices
- server room
- equipment checkout
Art Department
- drawing studio

Music Department

Building completion is scheduled for fall 2009. Lyle Troxell is the DANM liaison for the project.
