PARKING AT UCSC
Parking on campus will require a permit:
- Weekdays before 4:30 pm daily parking permits can be purchased at the information kiosk at the entrance of UCSC Campus for $5. The Kiosk closes at 8:30 pm during the week and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
- After 4:30 pm during weekdays and during weekends parking permits cost $2. Visitors can buy them directly in the two "Pay & Display" machines located in Performing Arts Lot 126, which is the closest parking space to the venue TA M110. "Pay & Display" permit dispensers accept coins, bills and credit cards. Many parking areas on campus are free during Saturdays and Sundays BUT NOT the Performing Arts parking lot. On Saturday May 6th in the evening there will be a parking attendant in the Performing Arts area who will be selling parking permits also.
On Friday May 5th visitors to the Communications Building can also park in the nearby parking garage on McLaughlin Drive (Core West Garage). Parking tickets for this garage can be also bought in the "Pay & Display" located in the Core West Garage.
ADVICE: Especially during Spring term, the UCSC Campus is very busy and parking can be a challenge!
