Pictures of pictures: a series of images that are photographs of images in different contexts. Initial ideas include wheatpastes, show/event flyers (stapled to bulletin boards--maybe one that is on an electric pole, shot such that the image distorts curvaliniar, then tear the print to match), 'the day the police rioted' nicely hung on a wall, ("found") stenciled images, a banner drop that reads "no nation, no state, Obama '08", flyers.
Shoot in raw data. The prints will all be the same size, regardless of source image size, so the res has to be really high.
The full frame photographs should have just enough of the surrounding context (wall, what attaches the image to the wall, etc) to provide a sense of space, but not enough to identify the actual location.
Flyers are digital prints. Xereography is a digtal medium these days.
