For this new design to launch it will be necessary to populate all of these pages and the staff of the DANM program will need to keep viable information on these pages.

Navigation

Collaborative Research top part

The new site will have the following navigation items on the top left of every page:

• Collaborative Research

  • Mechatronics
  • Participatory Culture
  • Performative Technologies

Expandable Navigation

On most pages the following will also be visible on the left:

• Events

  • MFA Exhibition?
• Announcements

• General Program Info (needs to be relocated/renamed) <-- really? Can't we have a General Program info with some text and include the Program Planner page content? -Lyle

The Events page will have an expanded list displayed under the "Events" item when you visit that page. This expanded navigation fragments will come from wiki pages. Using Events as an example the page in the wiki is called "events", it's navigation expansion will be "events/nav". I have pre-populated events /nav with my guess as to what should expand when you click on the events page. Navigation expansion pages should contain a bulleted list of a mix of bold items and links. Here is an example source:

The bar navigation (people, courses, resources and research) will have drop downs. These drop downs will be populated the same way as the navigation expansions. So here are the navigation bar drop down wiki pages. They will need to be populated:
