I'm here to help
My job at UCSC is to support the technical needs of the DANM Program. For you, as a student or faculty member, this means that I am the "go-to guy" for any technical problems you are facing. I handle ordering equipment, managing servers and helping to support research when technology is involved.
Duties
- Manage danm.ucsc.edu server and website. If you need an account or help in some way please contact me.
- Make technical purchases for Instruction, Research and Project Groups. - If you have a strong case for some equipment, software or technology please ask.
- Manage equipment: loan, fix, buy and arrange for.
- Instructional/Research Support: training on software and some tech, brainstorming on research, coding solutions, setting up equipment for instillations/performances. If you are running into a technical barrier, come ask me to help; I may be able and willing.
- Omni Lock management, yes I can get you access to that room at Porter.
- Management of DANM Electronics Lab
