Piercing the Ideal

I am exploring the concept of the ideal from the vantage point of looking and being seen. Our own identity is aligned with our sense of the ideal. Exploring what is and is not our ideal, is another way of looking, discovering and understanding our own identity. This paper’s focus is to gather theoretical perspectives of contemporary artists whose work is similar.
