!Hi, My name is Nada Miljković -Нада миљковић I am an alumni of the DANM program. <?plugin RawHtml <img src="http://danm.ucsc.edu/~nada/images/inoldoffice.jpg" height="240" width="320"><br><br> ?> Fall of 2009 I'll be back on campus CAing for Soraya Murray's class HAVC 80, Video Games as Visual Culchah. I'm happy to report that I will back on campus for the Fall of 2009 Course assisting for the Video Games as Visual Culture. In my last quarter, spring 2009, I'll TAed for Maria Evangalatou in her HAVC 139 - Islamic Art class also in the History of Art and Visual Culture department. On Friday May 15, 2009, I took first place in the 5th UCSC Graduate [Symposium|http://graddiv.ucsc.edu/student_affairs/GradSymposium.php]. I got the Division of Art, Division Award. I host a radio show this quarter entitled "Artists on Art". On March 17th, I interviewed the beautiful [Adia Millett|http://www.adiamillett.com/Change/_ADIA_MILLETT%3A.html] who is currently at the [Sesnon|http://arts.ucsc.edu/sesnon/current/index.html]. This next week, I'm really excited to have Newton and Helen Mayer [Harrison|http://www.greenmuseum.org/content/artist_index/artist_id-81.html]. My most current work is for my thesis paper and project (including all the components such as the abstract, proposal, schedule and budget) entitled [Balkan Song|/BalkanSong]. * [/DANM250C] [Public Media Group|http://publicmedia.ucsc.edu] led by Warren Sack. * [/DANM299] Thesis research with B. [Ruby Rich|http://www.brubyrich.com/]. * An Athletic Conditioning PE class. In the winter quarter, I am TAing for [/HAVC142] Activist Art 1960 To Now Hopefully my last quarter will be in the spring 2009 and I will have the following two classes: Quickie bio: I am an activist artist researching and exploring new media forms that inspire understanding and tolerance across diverse cultures. I work in digital print, video, net-art, radio, and performance. She is currently working on an interactive performance and video piece that searches for identity through musical traditions and inspires the participants to reflect upon gender and agency.
