  Bioarts and environmentalism: Pannel Friday 5th 3:00 about Kim Springfield of Invisible Five, interview people who have been affected by environmental issues. Pesticides, development, Gail White will be there, beatrice de costa, and this guy from Austrialia who runs a biolab that allows artists to come in and do bio art. See environmental actions as aesthetically pleaseing

• Working on the pannel for the iSea on aesthetizing alternative energy sources. The iead is to include users and developers, artists who are interested in them or are doing art to increase awareness of them or are actually creating energy. .

  • So we need to find some money to produce this. Who could we get money from and how do we ask them?

  • Deal with the question of aesthetics?
  • What are the drawbacks to these methods?
  • university might make travel money
    this could qualify for an educational grant
    foundation center in San Francisco
    pay honorarium, travel expenses, food boarding, (per diem or throw a dinner)
  • This pannel will be run as a round table discussion rather than a present your paper.
  • Who should we invite:
    Bio fuel is slightly overdone, large scale electric energy production is the aim, methan is used, it's not all or nothing many different ideas should be represented and possibilities explored as non-competitive ideas

  • In order to invite you send out the description for the pannel, the set up plan for the pannel, let them know they have to come up with questions and respond to those of others.
