telematic music intervention

This is a roving/intervention style, self-contained system on wheels for engaging in online
musical improvisation. The applicant, Cynthia Payne, will roll around with the
portable system to locations as directed giving performances and demonstrations.

Telematic musical improvisation is a major social networking tool that helps to shift the
image of online activities as being anti-social. Anyone can be a member of an ad hoc
musical ensemble being formed online between people from all over the world, and
any jam can be transformed into a unique musical composition.
