ART

2004: Solo show at The Attic
Show of dance photography and murals at flagship gallery of the Santa Cruz Institute of Contemporary Art.

2004: Public mural on outside of Rio Theatre
City-funded mural installation, to be completed in January. Partially a reprise of 1998 First Night mural project, with variation.

2003: Subject of documentary film, "DF41: Portrait of an ex-artist
Profiled in documentary by filmmaker Jesse Rose DeRooy.

2003: Participant in "Take Your Seats"
Created two sculptural chairs for auction benefitting Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

2002: Participant in "Pony Brigade Art Stampede 2002"
Created two sculptural horses for auction benefitting 418 project, a dance and performance venue.

2002: Artist and consultant with Santa Cruz Digital Art Festival
Helped to plan & realize first annual SCDAF, April 2002. Gave lectures/demonstrations, and sat on panel discussions on digital photography and art. Produced and exhibited two visual projects for the festival.

1998-2000: Performances and installations
Created costumes, environments and performances several times for "Seventh Sense" and "Labyrinth", two Santa Cruz art performance events.

1999: Public outdoor photo installation
Produced and installed a site-specific public art project consisting of six images of human figures high on a building in downtown Santa Cruz. Supported by grants from First Night Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz City Art Commission, Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County, the Redevelopment Agency, and numerous small businesses and individuals.

1997: Giant public photo mural
Installed 25 by 80 foot public photo mural for First Night celebration on New Years Eve. Project supported by most of the funders mentioned above.

1997: Large photo murals for Museum of Art and History
Produced series of ten foot tall photographic banners featured in a dance performance at Museum of Art & History, Santa Cruz California.

1997: Profiled in Spotlight Magazine
Cover story, Santa Cruz Sentinel magazine, April 18, 1997 for photographic work with dance company.

1996: Public photo mural for First Night Santa Cruz 97
Similar to the 1997 project listed above. Dimensions were 15 by 50 feet.

1996: Solo show at Santa Cruz Dance Gallery
Black & white photo murals on vinyl, 3-8 feet tall. Printed with a special digital/optical technique.
