Issues and Artists will focus on key issues in contemporary art, art theory, and curatorial practice through lectures, discussions and readings. The course will consist of a weekly series of lectures designed to familiarize students with the theories and practice surrounding current (and shifting) topics of interest in the larger art world. Students will be required to write a one page response paper each week with a quote from reading.
