Next Tuesday, March 12, Daniel Christopher '12, and Kyle Lane-McKinley '10, have found many opportunities right here at UCSC - They will speak of the hurdles and the rewards of working at UCSC.

 

Daniel Christopher is an emerging new media artist exploring interdisciplinary content development, advanced materials fabrication, electronics, and interaction design. He is a media professional experienced in camera operation, editing, and sound recording. Currently he is a lecturer at UC Santa Cruz engaged as a research associate for 2012-13.

Kyle Lane-McKinley is an artist and educator in Santa Cruz, California, where he lives with his sweetheart, Madeline Lane, and their daughter Tuli. Kyle recently completed an MFA in the Digital Art and New Media program at UC Santa Cruz, where he works as lecturer, a research associate and as the coordinator of the Social Practice Arts Research Center (SPARC). You’ll often also find him helping to run the Santa Cruz Bike Church, Santa Cruz Community Farmer’s Markets and, along with Nick Lally, projects of the building collective. kylemckinley.com
