UCSC has *two* finalist games at IndieCade this year:

- Coffee: A Misunderstanding, by current DANM MFA student Deirdra "Squinky" Kiai

- Ice-Bound, by current CS PhD students (and DANM alumni) Aaron Reed and Jacob Garbe

INDIECADE (international Festival of Independent games) will be from October 9-12, 2014 in Culver City, CA

"We're excited to share with you over 150 games that have been chosen as Finalists and Selects for IndieCade Festival 2014! We received over 900 submissions this year - the most we've ever had - which also means this year's festival is bound to be the biggest ever! Developers from around the world will be exhibiting everything from digital and table-top games to eSports, performance art pieces, live action role-playing experiences, and interactive art installations."
