"Right to Re-" Student-curated exhibition Jan 25 - Feb 12

Thursday, January 25, 2018 - 12:00am to Monday, February 12, 2018 - 12:00am
Digital Arts Research Center (DARC) 108

The Digital Art & New Media program hosts a pavilion of The Wrong New Digital Art Biennial in both physical and virtual locations. This exhibition is an expansive celebration of digital art and artists and is the continuation of an inclusive worldwide festival featuring hundreds of venues, events, and exhibitions. "The Right to Re-" features artists whose work pushes beyond the ideal of simply withdrawing from data to ask how we can (re)establish agency over our identities. It comes in halves: “The Right to Rewrite" investigates textual self-identity online, and “The Right to Reconstruct" explores physical identity online.

Opening Reception: Thursday, January 25, 6:00-9:00 PM
Exhibition Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM, between January 25 - February 12, 2018
Digital Arts Research Center 108
