DANM Research Affiliate and Lecturer Yolande Harris's soundwalk, WHALE, at the RRS Discovery (the one that went to Antarctica in 1901!) Part of the NEoN Digital Arts Festival in Dudee, Scotland. The headphones, which play remarkable cetacean sounds, are encased in a 16-strand Celtic knot made of Dundee jute, an homage to Dundee's history as a center for whaling and jute production.
