second-year mfa students
Nicki Duval (they/them) is a first-year student in the Digital Arts and New Media MFA program. In their sound, image, and research work, they explore spatiotemporality, queerness, liminality, (in)tangibility, and the fragmentation memory and subjectivity. Currently, they are developing two projects: a docufictional piece featuring a baseball game played by Bay Area queer people filmed with 360° cameras, and an experimental sci-fi narrative pondering questions around changing/losing form. Outside of DANM, they record music as EEL TANK.
